Property Tax Information

Friendly Reminder: Tax Bills for the City of Creekside will come out in July. If you do not get a bill or notification- it was sent to your mortgage co. by July 31st. Please contact the City Clerk. Please remember that you will get the early discount only if you pay before Sept 1, YEAR.

Residents of the City pay taxes at the current rate of $.22/$100 of property. A discount of 11% is given if said taxes are paid on or before August 31,  (Specific Year). No penalties are applied if the bill is paid on or before November 30, (specific year), but then after a 10% penalty plus interest at 12% per annum is applied if the taxes are paid on or before February 28, (specific year). After that date, a 15% penalty and interest at 12% per annum is applied from December 1, (Specific Year) , until paid.For more details please refer to your annual Yearly- Property Tax Bill.

These taxes pay for the maintenance of the City in the form of sanitation, electricity, landscaping, snow removal and road repairs. They also pay for the operation of the City, including the wages of the City Clerk/Treasurer and compensation for the City Commission.
