Sanitation Services:

Waste Services

EcoTech handles sanitation for Creekside in the following manner:

Garbage pick up in Creekside is on Mondays, and containers are provided to residents. Occasionally, holidays will cause a shift in pick up to Tuesdays. 
(all trash must be in Ecotech toter, if you need another toter, you can purchase from Ecotech for $4.50/month paid annually)
Ecotech observes six holidays a year for residential customers:
  • New Years Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
Recycling containers are also provided to residents, and should be placed near the garbage containers for alternate Mondays pick up. All plastics labeled 1-7 are accepted, as are a wide range of paper and metal products. A complete list can be found in the City Directory which is provided to each household.  

Yard Waste is picked up every Monday (April through November). No pick up December through March except one pick up first week in January for Christmas trees. Place yard waste in paper bags or cans. Sticks should be bundled, with lengths no longer than 4 feet.

EcoTech will pick up bulk items too large for the regular containers. One bulk pick up per household per month. Call to schedule.

NOTICE:
Please help to keep our City clean! We have increased traffic in the city and are seeing more trash in the neighborhood. As residents, we are personally responsible for picking up trash. Please help us by picking up trash on your walks around the neighborhood to keep it clean.




Street Lighting
For non-functioning LG&E street lights please call Residential Options at (502) 589-1444 or (800) 331-7370 and provide the location of the street light. You can also submit an online complaint form here.
